Wow...

"Jason, and I were in MSN bull shitting pretty much and well jason dissapeared..."

^ Yeah, he does that a lot. He's a scrub. You just made his ego bigger by posting this song about him tho. :P hahaha

wyldfyre1 responds:

Meh Thats what he gets LOL

Nice

Simple, easy to groove to beat. I could easily see this being played in a club. Nice work. =)

djInTheDark responds:

That was my intention. ;)

Thanx for the review!

Yeah ok...

It's good, I suppose. :P Nah, I'm only teasing. I never played the games but I've heard the music from time to time and Castlevania has some incredible songs. I definitely like your renditions of them. :)

kelwynshade responds:

Yeah, I should quit making music. It's all your fault!!!

Thanks ^_^

Just my opinion...

Yeah I have to agree with wyldfyre1 myself. I think this would be placed perfectly in the background of a sad, emotionally dramatic setting. Like someone talking about horrible things that had happened in their past, or from the point of view of someone who has lost everyone they love in their life. The smoothness of it pulls out a deep sadness and empathetic emotion rather than the anger and hatred that a "beat" might give it. Gentle, occasional drums might work, but I wouldn't go much beyond that. Maybe a cello would do the trick...

KTRECORDS responds:

Lol, sad is what Josh and I do best! It was only natural that after our long KTR hiatus, we go back to our roots and make something like this. Hopefully we'll be able to give this song the attention it deserves.

So...

I listened to this repeat about 4 times while I was chatting with people and it's really catchy. Very nice work, as always :)

Incredible

The piano is my favorite instrument and I love hearing it played so well. I do agree with Phazer100 that you could add some mellow strings and possibly a flute somewhere. But even so, great song!

TheBellmaker responds:

Thanks for the fave. Ya I'll gonna add some strings for the full version :). I dunno about flute though..

Since it's a rough draft...

I won't be too hard on you :P. The song starts out incredibly beautiful and I see how it could fit to a movie very well. However the part between about 1:57 and 2:11 sounds kind of ... rushed to me. Like it needs to be a little bit longer with the fast paced tempo if that's what you were going for. I'm no expert by any means and I know it's a rough draft, just giving my opinion :) Still, very nice work as always!

kelwynshade responds:

Absolutley. Yeah; my issue right now it waiting for scene timing. Once the Anamatics are done for the film, I'll be able to layout the entire song with the scene (wolf mother walks to cliff, howls, music starts).

For this particular scene, The female wolf is walking, very tired, through snow in search of her cub. Her memory races thinking about doubt of finding him, thinking about past memories... then remembering him as a newborn cub.

Definitely a rush job, that's for sure (about 20 minutes total in one sitting). I agree with the sudden pick-up in speed and then a sudden stop.

Thanks for stopin' in to review.
